Refund Policy
This Refund Policy describes how refunds and cancellations are handled for paid services, where applicable. Specific projects may be governed by separate written agreements that take precedence over this general policy.
Consulting and professional services
Fees for consulting, audits, penetration testing scoping, training, or similar services are generally earned as milestones are delivered or hours are incurred, as set out in your proposal or contract. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits and amounts paid for work already performed are non-refundable.
Cancellations before work begins
If you cancel a confirmed engagement before substantive work has started, any deposit may be refunded minus reasonable administrative or scheduling costs, as stated in your agreement. If third-party costs have already been incurred on your behalf, those may be deducted from refundable amounts.
Subscriptions or recurring plans
Where recurring billing applies, you may cancel future renewals according to the terms of your plan. Refunds for partial periods are only provided where required by law or explicitly stated in your plan terms.
Digital deliverables and reports
Once a report, deliverable, or licensed material has been supplied to you, refunds are generally not available except where a material defect exists and cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, or as required by law.
Disputes and chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve billing concerns. Initiating a chargeback without attempting resolution may affect ongoing service. We will provide documentation to payment processors as appropriate.
Processing time
Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method where possible. Timing may depend on banks or payment providers and is typically within five to ten business days after approval.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory statutory rights in your jurisdiction, including withdrawal or cooling-off rights where they apply to distance contracts.
